York Riverfront residential building lots (just outside the town

The
river is about 70 feet wide with sandy shoreline excellent for swimming,
boating (no motors) and great fishing. All of the lots front on

Take
401 east from Toronto then go north on 35/115 just past Peterborough
take highway #28 north to Bancroft.
To
get to the lots take Hwy#62 (Hastings Street) north through town
of Bancroft. Go past Tim Horton’s, turn left at “Y”
road, go to South Baptiste Lake road, turn left. Go to Woodcox
Road, turn left and go until fork in road; take left fork, which
is Glory Road.
Follow this to the properties. They are on left side of Glory
Road; you will see my signs: "for sale by owner."
If
you get to the end of Glory Road (at turn-around where it dead-ends,
you’ve gone too far) count back 9 lots and you will find
Lot#58 — there is a driveway going into this lot. (Lots
#21,#22,#23 and #26 are beside blue "911" address signs
#185 and #189 on Glory Road).
Yes, you can build on all the properties. They are zoned "residential
waterfront" and are outside the EP (environmental protection)
zone (which is mostly considered the land on the other side of
the river, so you don't have to worry about future construction
across the river from the properties.) We
have confirmed this with the municipal building office in Maynooth
which deals with building permits for this area.
In addition to the York River boat access, you have on the properties
themselves there is also public boat access nearby on Elephant
Lake and Baptiste Lake.
